Important Notes
- Acrylic mirror is not suitable for structural load-bearing applications.
- Painted backing may be sensitive to certain chemicals and should be handled carefully.

Acrylic FAQs
Please read our frequently asked questions to find out more.
What is the difference between cast and extruded acrylic?
Most acrylic sheet is manufactured by either extrusion or cell casting. The benefits to cell casting are small minimums and a higher molecular weight. This results in a slightly better chemical resistance, heat resistance and clarity. The disadvantages to cell cast is that thickness tolerance within a sheet can vary. Extruded sheets offer the user less fluctuation in thickness across sheet.
