Ideal Use Cases
  • Photos: Large format photo prints at 11"x17" have a commanding presence on the wall. UV filtering acrylic keeps the colors in photographic prints accurate over time, which is especially worth it for prints you plan to display long term.
  • Prints: The 11"x17" format is a popular size for limited edition art prints. The frameless acrylic display keeps the print itself at the center of attention with no physical frame border to distract from it.
  • Artwork: Original works on paper or canvas up to 11"x17" fit the 14"x20" panels with a clean 1.5" border on all sides. UV filtering acrylic is the practical choice for original pieces that cannot be replaced.
  • Landscape photography: Hung horizontally, this frame becomes a wide 17"x11" display for panoramic landscape photos. The 14"x20" panels in landscape orientation give wide format images the room they need to read properly.
  • Typography: Typographic prints and quote posters look clean and intentional in a frameless acrylic display. The clear border gives the composition visual space so the text reads clearly without feeling crowded against the edge.
  • Small posters: The 11"x17" format is one of the most common small poster sizes. Favorite concert announcements, film posters, and event prints fit perfectly, and the tool free standoff system makes rotating your collection genuinely easy.

Choosing Your Front Panel

Standard Acrylic is a great choice for photos, prints, artwork, and posters in rooms that do not get a lot of direct sunlight. Clear, durable, and the more affordable option, it works well for pieces you want to swap out or rotate over time.

UV-Filtering Acrylic blocks UV rays to slow color fading on photographic prints, original artwork, fine art prints, and paper-based pieces. At this larger size, the investment in UV protection is especially sensible for anything sentimental, limited edition, or genuinely irreplaceable.

The 11"x17" format handles portrait prints and landscape panoramas equally well, and four hardware finishes give you real options for any room or setting. Two panel choices, a clean frameless look, and no tools required to swap what is inside.

Acrylic FAQs

Please read our frequently asked questions to find out more.

What is the difference between cast and extruded acrylic?

Most acrylic sheet is manufactured by either extrusion or cell casting.  The benefits to cell casting are small minimums and a higher molecular weight.  This results in a slightly better chemical resistance, heat resistance and clarity.  The disadvantages to cell cast is that thickness tolerance within a sheet can vary. Extruded sheets offer the user less fluctuation in thickness across sheet.
