Acrylic Floating Frame Wall Mount 28"x28" | Standard or UV Acrylic

The 28"x28" is the largest square frame in this collection, and it is built for content that earns the wall space. Photos, prints, posters, original artwork, corporate graphics, and retail displays up to 28"x28" get a clean, frameless presentation between two 31"x31" clear acrylic panels, secured by eight standoffs in Gold, Rose Gold, Black, or Silver. A square frame at this scale has a presence that rectangular frames simply do not — there is no portrait or landscape to decide, and the equal proportions give the display a visual weight that works whether it goes up in a home, a gallery, a corporate lobby, or a retail environment.

Ideal Use Cases
  • Photos: Square format photography prints at 28"x28" are a bold, purposeful display choice. UV filtering acrylic is worth choosing here since it blocks UV rays to slow the color fading that photographic prints experience over time, especially in rooms with consistent natural or artificial light.
  • Prints: Large format art prints at 28"x28" have the scale to be the defining piece on any wall. The frameless acrylic construction keeps nothing between the print surface and the viewer, and the 1.5" clear border on all four sides gives even the most detailed compositions room to settle.
  • Gallery walls: The 31"x31" frame is the strongest possible anchor for a mixed gallery arrangement. Build a grid of same-size square frames around it, or pair it with a variety of smaller rectangular frames in a consistent standoff finish — either approach reads as intentional and considered from across the room.
  • Posters: Large format square poster prints at 28"x28" are well served by this frame in home, studio, and commercial settings. Standard acrylic is a practical choice for poster applications, and all eight standoff caps unscrew by hand for fast, tool free content changes.
  • Corporate and retail graphics: Large format brand graphics and retail displays at 28"x28" benefit from the clean, modern look this frame provides at a scale that reads clearly across a room. Four finish options let the hardware complement the brand environment, and the tool free standoff system makes refreshing display content between campaigns straightforward.
  • Artwork: Original paintings and fine art reproductions at up to 28"x28" sit flat and secure between the two acrylic panels. UV filtering acrylic is the right call for original work since protecting color accuracy at this prominent display size is worth the investment, especially for pieces that cannot simply be reprinted.

Choosing Your Front Panel

Standard Acrylic is the right call for posters, commercial graphics, and display content that will be rotated or reprinted on a regular basis. Clear, durable, and practical for any application where preservation over the long term is not the priority.

UV-Filtering Acrylic blocks UV rays to slow color fading on photographs, fine art prints, and original artwork. For a 24"x36" frame displaying something that matters — a significant print, original art, or large format photography — UV filtering acrylic is a straightforward investment in how well it holds up over the years it will spend on the wall.

Six standoffs, four finish options, standard or UV filtering acrylic, and a 27"x39" frameless display that works portrait or landscape in spaces as varied as a home gallery, a corporate lobby, and a commercial retail floor.

Acrylic FAQs

Please read our frequently asked questions to find out more.

What is the difference between cast and extruded acrylic?

Most acrylic sheet is manufactured by either extrusion or cell casting.  The benefits to cell casting are small minimums and a higher molecular weight.  This results in a slightly better chemical resistance, heat resistance and clarity.  The disadvantages to cell cast is that thickness tolerance within a sheet can vary. Extruded sheets offer the user less fluctuation in thickness across sheet.

What is the weight of acrylic per square foot?
