Acrylic Floating Frame Wall Mount 24"x24" | Standard or UV Acrylic

The 24"x24" is the largest square frame in the collection, and it shows. Photos, art prints, oversized vinyl sets, posters, and anything else up to 24"x24" get a clean, frameless display that fills a wall with presence. A square frame at this size has a way of looking genuinely intentional on the wall — there is no portrait or landscape to second-guess, just two 27"x27" clear acrylic panels holding your piece in place, secured by four standoffs in Gold, Rose Gold, Black, or Silver. Hang it solo as a bold standalone or arrange several together for a photo grid or gallery wall that commands real attention.

Ideal Use Cases
  • Photos: Large format square photo prints at 24"x24" are a natural fit for this frame. The UV filtering panel option blocks UV rays to slow color fading on photographic prints, which is worth considering for a piece this prominent in a space.
  • Art: Original artwork and fine art reproductions at up to 24"x24" sit flat and secure between the two acrylic panels. UV filtering acrylic is especially worth choosing for original pieces on paper or canvas since color shift on a one-of-a-kind work is not something a reprint can correct.
  • Prints: Large format art prints at 24"x24" have the size to be a real focal point on any wall. The clean frameless construction keeps nothing between the print surface and the viewer, and the 1.5" clear border on all four sides gives even dense, bold compositions room to settle.
  • Oversized vinyl sets: Multiple album covers or oversized vinyl art printed at up to 24"x24" make for a bold, music-forward wall display. The square format naturally matches the proportions of album art, and four standoff finish options let you match the hardware to the feel of the collection going inside.
  • Photo grids: Multiple 24"x24" frames arranged in a uniform grid on the wall create a strong, cohesive display. Use the same standoff finish across all the frames in the arrangement and the grid reads as a single considered installation rather than a collection of individual pieces.
  • Gallery walls: The 27"x27" frame is a serious anchor for a mixed gallery arrangement. Build smaller frames around it, keep the standoff finish consistent, and the wall feels like it was planned from the start even if it grew over time.
  • Posters: Large format square poster prints at 24"x24" are a good fit for this frame in home, studio, and commercial settings. Standard acrylic works well here, and the tool free standoff caps make rotating or updating posters easy without any tools on hand.

Choosing Your Front Panel

Standard Acrylic works well for posters, prints, and artwork displayed in rooms without a lot of direct sunlight. It is clear, durable, and a practical choice when the content inside will be swapped or refreshed over time rather than preserved for the long haul.

UV-Filtering Acrylic blocks UV rays to slow color fading on photographs, fine art, and original artwork. For a frame this large displaying something that genuinely matters, UV filtering acrylic is a smart investment in how well the piece holds up over the years it will spend on the wall.

Gold, Rose Gold, Black, or Silver hardware, standard or UV filtering acrylic, and a 27"x27" frameless display that gives a 24"x24" piece equal breathing room on every side. Hang it as the centerpiece of a wall or build a grid of them together — the square format works beautifully either way.

Acrylic FAQs

Please read our frequently asked questions to find out more.

What is the difference between cast and extruded acrylic?

Most acrylic sheet is manufactured by either extrusion or cell casting.  The benefits to cell casting are small minimums and a higher molecular weight.  This results in a slightly better chemical resistance, heat resistance and clarity.  The disadvantages to cell cast is that thickness tolerance within a sheet can vary. Extruded sheets offer the user less fluctuation in thickness across sheet.

What is the weight of acrylic per square foot?

Please see below.

1/16” (0.060”): 0.35 Lb./SF
