Acrylic Floating Frame Wall Mount 16"x20" | Standard or UV Acrylic

Photos, gallery prints, original drawings, posters, and anything else up to 16"x20" have a clean, frameless home in this floating frame. It is one of the most versatile sizes in the collection and one of the most popular for gallery walls because it works equally well as the anchor of a larger arrangement or displayed on its own. Hang it portrait or landscape — two 19"x23" clear acrylic panels sandwich your piece in place, held together by four standoffs in Gold, Rose Gold, Black, or Silver. The hardware stays visible but stays minimal, and the result is a display that keeps all the attention on what is inside.

Ideal Use Cases
  • Photos: The 16"x20" format is a standard large format photo print size. UV filtering acrylic is worth choosing here — it blocks UV rays to slow the color fading that photographic prints experience over time, especially in rooms with ambient window light.
  • Gallery art: Fine art prints and giclée reproductions at 16"x20" are common in both home and commercial gallery settings. The clean frameless look keeps nothing between the viewer and the print surface, and four finish options let you match the hardware to the aesthetic of the space.
  • Drawings: Original pencil, ink, or mixed media drawings on 16"x20" paper sit securely between the two acrylic panels. UV filtering acrylic is a particularly good choice for originals on paper since they cannot be reprinted if the colors shift over time.
  • Posters: The 16"x20" format is a standard poster size. Standard acrylic works well for most poster displays, and the tool free standoff caps make swapping out seasonal or rotating poster content genuinely easy.
  • Gallery walls: A 19"x23" frame is a strong visual anchor for a gallery arrangement. Pair it with a mix of smaller frames from the same collection and choose a consistent standoff finish across the whole wall to keep the display feeling intentional without being rigid.
  • Prints: Art prints at 16"x20" have enough size to make a real impact on any wall. The frameless acrylic look works with everything from minimalist line art to bold color field prints without the hardware competing with what is inside.

Choosing Your Front Panel

Standard Acrylic is a great fit for posters, prints, and drawings in most indoor spaces without a lot of direct sunlight. Clear, durable, and easy to clean, it lets the content inside speak for itself without any added complexity in the buying decision.

UV-Filtering Acrylic blocks UV rays to slow color fading on photographs, original artwork, and fine art prints. If the piece going in this frame is valuable, sentimental, or displayed in a room that gets real window light, UV filtering acrylic is the straightforward choice for protecting it over the long term.

Choose from four standoff finishes, pick the panel that fits the space, and hang it portrait or landscape for a clean frameless look that works as well on its own as it does as the centerpiece of a gallery wall.

Acrylic FAQs

Please read our frequently asked questions to find out more.

What is the difference between cast and extruded acrylic?

Most acrylic sheet is manufactured by either extrusion or cell casting.  The benefits to cell casting are small minimums and a higher molecular weight.  This results in a slightly better chemical resistance, heat resistance and clarity.  The disadvantages to cell cast is that thickness tolerance within a sheet can vary. Extruded sheets offer the user less fluctuation in thickness across sheet.

What is the weight of acrylic per square foot?
